What is it?
JCH Hacker Typer is a hacker simulator that lets you look like a real hacker while typing.
Press any key and code streams across a full-screen terminal interface — realistic,
cinematic, and convincing.
Features include auto-typing mode, a file explorer sidebar, chat window simulation, custom
code file upload, customizable popup content, and a fully customizable theme. It runs
entirely in the browser with no server required, and works offline as a Progressive Web App (PWA).
Core Features
- Keystroke streaming – every keypress advances through hacker-style code one character at a time.
- Auto Typing mode – code types itself automatically at a configurable speed, so you can sit back and look busy.
- File Explorer sidebar – a realistic file tree appears on the left; clicking a file jumps the code stream to that file.
- Line numbers – toggle a synced gutter for extra authenticity.
- Custom code upload – replace the default code with any text file of your own.
- Font size & color – fully adjustable via the Settings panel.
- Background image – upload a custom wallpaper to show behind the terminal text.
Popup Windows
- System Monitor – a floating widget displaying animated CPU, memory, and network graphs.
- Console Window – a scrolling "Network Defense Console" that streams fake security log lines.
- Chat Window – a simulated "Underground Chat" with configurable personas and message timing.
- Access Denied overlay – dramatic full-screen alert triggered by pressing Shift three times rapidly.
- Access Granted overlay – alternate full-screen alert triggered by pressing Alt / Option three times rapidly.
Keyboard Shortcuts
- Any key – type one character of code.
- F11 – toggle browser fullscreen for a fully immersive view.
- Esc – close all open popups and overlays.
- Shift × 3 – trigger the Access Denied alert.
- Alt / Option × 3 – trigger the Access Granted alert.
Settings Panel ( ⚙ )
- Toggle Auto Typing on/off and set the typing speed.
- Toggle System Monitor, Console Window, and line numbers.
- Adjust font size and pick a custom font color.
- Upload a background image.
- Upload a custom code file to replace the built-in default code.
- Customize the message and border color for both the Access Denied (Shift) and Access Granted (Alt) hotkey alerts.
Chat Settings Panel ( 💬 )
- Toggle the chat window and enable auto-play mode.
- Set a custom title for the chat window.
- Paste chat content lines, assigning messages to different personas.
- Set auto-reply lines that appear as your own responses.
- Customize chat font size, font color, and background color or image.
- Type live messages that appear as your own replies in real time.
PWA / Offline Support
The app registers a service worker and can be installed on desktop or mobile as a standalone
app. Once visited, it works fully offline — no internet connection required.
